Stop the restart of the offshore oil rigs in the Santa Barbara Channel that were taken offline after the 2015 Plains All American pipeline spill.
A Texas oil company, Sable, is charging ahead with work to restart a corroded oil pipeline that spilled hundreds of thousands of gallons of oil off the Santa Barbara coast in 2015. This will also restart three offshore drilling platforms that have been offline for nearly 10 years, since the spill. The pipeline restart would be a disaster for our coastline communities, ocean ecosystems, and our climate.
