Ban the Bag, Andover!

The Massachusetts chapter worked with local activists to help Andover pass a law that bans plastic bags at “food establishments” (Article 55).

The chapter submitted a letter of testimony and participated in an online business forum to support the campaign.

The ordinance passed on May 1, 2018, and goes into effect on January 2, 2019.
