To fulfill this following action:
“Identify, characterize, and share information about measures to maintain the recreational value of important non-consumptive recreational areas and the activities they sustain.” (Sustainable Ocean Uses Goal, Non-Consumptive Recreation: Action 1)
Surfrider Foundation and MARCO are hosting a series of four workshops throughout the Mid-Atlantic to engage the public in a discussion of the value of important non-consumptive recreational areas and the activities they sustain. Non-consumptive recreation includes any non-fishing activities such as beach going, swimming, wildlife viewing, surfing, and diving. Information gathered at these workshops will be used to improve management of recreation in the Mid-Atlantic.
Pizza and beverages will be served. Please pre-register so we have enough pizza!
