We collected almost 1,500 completed surveys, which included over 20,000 data points on where people are recreating in the Mid-Atlantic. This is new data, and incredibly important for regional ocean planning moving ahead in the region. The data can now be found on the Mid-Atlantic Ocean Data Portal (click on “Recreation”) and available for use by the newly formed Mid-Atlantic Regional Planning Body (RPB) to create a plan for ocean management in the Mid-Atlantic.

This is where we are asking for your help once again–the Mid-Atlantic RPB is in the initial stages of forming a Regional Ocean Action Plan, and needs to hear what you think should happen in Mid-Atlantic ocean and coastal areas. Together we can positively shape the Mid-Atlantic coast for future generations!
